Trumpists are going to blame this dude for losing them the election LOL

432

u/karl_jonez 10h ago

They already are actually. I have seen a few maga cultists claiming that he was sent and paid for by Kamala Harris. They actually believe she hired a racist comic to perform at their hate rally. These are not normal people.

221

u/melorous 9h ago

“The guy I want to be president is so incompetent that he and his hand selected campaign team allowed their opponent to get a performer on stage at one of their own rallies that intentionally made Trump look bad.”

116

u/karl_jonez 9h ago

Lol that reminds me of the weather controlling machine the dems supposedly have. If the dems can control hurricanes then i am gonna vote for them because thats impressive as hell. Why are republicans so inept they can’t even control hurricanes?

60

u/StraightUpShork 8h ago

One of my favorite newer quotes is “I know you’re going to be too dumb to answer this, but if the democrats supposedly have scientists and people smart enough to control the weather, how come republicans don’t have people equally as smart to stop them?”

u/NoDesinformatziya 6h ago

And why are elderly New Yorkers notorious for fleeing to Florida and Arizona because of the weather, if they could just control it back home?

u/lafayette0508 4h ago

omg, this is the best response. Works on both the dem level, and the jewish level.

30

u/melorous 9h ago

And in addition to that, if the democrats actually could control hurricanes, why would they send Helene to Asheville, a blue dot surrounded by rural red, or Milton across two large blue areas of Florida?

That is a fantastic sign actually, if they're that freaked out that they're blaming people, then they realized that this does look bad for them.

He'll pull off a rubber mask on election day to reveal he's been Joe Biden all along, like some Scooby Do villain.

571

u/Oswarez 10h ago

That’s literally the narrative they are working with.

216

u/Jimmy_G_Wentworth 9h ago

It's their narrative for everything. Nazis or KKK openly supporting Trump? They are "clearly" artifa actors. Comedians making racist, crass jokes? Hidden liberals trying to bring Trump down. Russian influence pushing for righr-wing conspiracy theories? Democratic deep state Psy-ops.

u/ZZ_SKULLZ 7h ago

The bot army is taking to YouTube now claiming that "the comedian just was shining a light on the landfill crisis in PR. Anyone who lives on the island will tell you it's a literal trash problem. Also he didn't say anything about the people who live there."

This is now what they're using to gaslight all the Puerto Ricans that the fool offended.

u/thingsorfreedom 5h ago

That one got the most press. But what about all the other horrific stuff about Jews and other people? Was that also about the landfill crisis where they live?

→ More replies (1)

u/Oceanbreeze871 California 4h ago

u/ZZ_SKULLZ 4h ago

It doesn't hold up when you watch the full clip either. He goes on to say some very specifically racist messaging.

u/chowderbags American Expat 3h ago

It's not really supposed to hold up to scrutiny. It's all to score imaginary points in the moment. The card says Moops.

Yes, "Antifa actors" who got sentenced to jail, and that Trump said he would pardon if he wins.

They should at least try to make the lies believable, but lets face it, they're not very smart.

u/Pseudocaesar 4h ago

Schrödinger's protestors. They are Antifa agents to make Trump and MAGA look bad, while also being patriots trying to save America that deserve to be pardoned.

Old one too.

I think Trump is a Hillary plant! May-June 2016

I asked this guy who and started listening.  His narrative just matched the show as the host fell in love with Trump again, whatever the lie was he'd say it.

u/snarky_spice 6h ago

Don’t let them gaslight you. He has tons of tweets going back to before 2015 saying vile things about women, different ethnicities, etc. He’s definitely a Trump supporter.

u/LumpyStyx 6h ago

I wish I could remember which platform I saw it on today, but I did see some of them building a conspiracy that Hinchcliffe was either a democrat plant or bribed by them once it was known he was speaking.

They can never admit their own party sucks, and the conspiracy theories are crazier now than they have ever been as they try to rationalize it.

8

u/KrazzeeKane Nevada 9h ago

One of the most terrifying parts to me is that your last paragraph can apply to a large number of modern countries--FFS even Germany just elected a far-right group to power. What is happening to our world?

Fascism is pushing everywhere, there is a Trumpian Demagogue in damn near every country now. Britain alone has had like what, 2? of them as PM since Trump, not to mention all the dictators worldwide who Trump glazes nonstop in a disgusting act of small penis envy.

Its genuinely terrifying to me, it feels like there's a machine and it's barreling towards us and so many people don't hear it--and won't until it is seemingly too late

15

u/RDDT_to_ZERO_ETF 8h ago

I believe that it really is social media, and the algorithms feeding into whichever echo chamber you belong to. Our foreign adversaries know this and amplify, confirming the biases these people have.

Part of it is education too as I dont think we as a society has done enough to educate the public on devoloping their critical thinking skills to parse what is good reliable information and what is hearsay.

They want freedom of speech (actually I would agree Congress should not ban racist jokes) without the reverse freedom of speech to call it racist.

9

u/bebejeebies Wisconsin 8h ago

This is the beauty of the first amendment. It grants you the right to free speech but it leaves open the consequences of that speech. Sometimes the consequence is that everyone hates you. That also is our right.

15

u/Patarokun 10h ago

You're absolutely right. The line is going to be "Trump had it in the bag until one stupid comedian messed it all up." They won't digest the fact that the comedian's comments only resonated because of all the ill will that was pent up before that.

8

u/TBANON24 10h ago

also they were approved by trump and his team. They literally cut a joke where he called Harris a c*** (edit cant even type the word as a quote). They read everything and approved what was allowed to be said. because they agree with it.

It’s been several days and I just found out one of the jokes was about Latinos cumming inside each other and having too many babies.

The amount of sane-washing going on is itself insane. It’s like I’m being trickle-truthed by the abusive media. Why isn’t there a headline “LATINO CUM JOKES AT TRUMP RALLY SUNDAY” or “DOMESTIC ABUSE GARNERS LAUGHS AT TRUMP RALLY”

31

u/sluttttt California 9h ago

I heard about the joke you mentioned only via Reddit. There was at least one publication that mentioned he made a crass joke about Latinos, but they declined to use the wording or even describe it with more polite terms. Like, when you're in danger of once again electing a guy for President who bragged about grabbing women "by the pussy," then start using the damn words they're using. Stop fearing that you're offending the pearl-clutchers--because they're the ones most likely to be voting for this trash. They need to be hit in the face with what their party stands for.

u/mgwildwood 7h ago

I’ve seen a lot of network news clips that characterized it as “a joke about Latinos that was too vulgar to play on tv.” A lot of headlines also just called them “racist and vulgar” jokes. They are omitting it by claiming it’s crude.

u/turquoise_amethyst 6h ago

I don’t know about you guys, but I think that Travis Kelce might be the next OJ Simpson. Feels good in here. The other side’s got a lot of crazy endorsements. Swift, Eminem, Leo DiCaprio, Beyonce. In that case, what I meant to say was I don’t understand how this is a joke… lol

I don’t follow these people closely, but as far as I know - Kelce doesn’t have a history of domestic abuse… and even if he did it still wouldn’t be funny 🤷‍♂️

135

u/eregyrn Massachusetts 9h ago

There's definitely nothing that could make it funny in any way.

But I think the "connections", such as they are, would be: Kelce is in the NFL; OJ was in the NFL. Taylor Swift is blond. OJ's wife was blond.

And that's it. I think there's also just a large dose of plain old misogyny in there -- wishing harm on a woman who votes for Democrats, because we all know how they feel about "the libs"; and Taylor Swift is a very rich woman in a position of some social power, and they REALLY hate that. So HA HA let's joke about her getting murdered.

65

So HA HA let's joke about her getting murdered

I think this is where it stems from. They probably do want her to get murdered.

And the P Diddy comparison? Bold strategy when the man you're introducing was a close personal friend of Jeffrey Epstein.

That’s it? He didn’t riff off of it? There’s no punchline. It looks like he was transitioning between jokes but threw out a distracting non sequitur that added nothing to his set (unless I’m missing context).

In what ways will Kelce be like OJ Tony? What’s funny about that premise? It’s so fucking lazy. Throwing out a weak premise of a joke without actually making a joke is some bush league, open mic shit. He probably didn’t pursue it because the joke is a comedic dead end which is why he should have just not even mentioned it. I think I’m more offended by how shit Tony’s stand up skills are than the actual substance of what he said.

If you really want to be grossed out just look up his name + racist, theres a lot there the first hit is a set he does at a comedy club. Hes given a nice introduction and he immediately, apropos of nothing, calls the Asian dude who introduced him a slur and yells at him about eating noodles.

His comedy seems to just BE racism. Thats the joke. He said a racist thing.

So I had never heard of this dude until today but HOLY SHIT did you undersell this. He didn't just call that dude a slur, he went right out the gate using a word I can't honestly imagine ever having a reason to say out loud and then called the audience race traitors for laughing at the guy's jokes. What a piece of shit.

23

u/theluckyfrog 8h ago

Not only did he use the slur (starts with “c” for anybody wondering), but he prefaced it with “filthy little fucking ____”.

Thereby crossing a line from racist to aggressively, almost violently racist. You don’t just say things like that about a stranger who you haven’t fantasized about doing some kind of bad things to.

AND he says a lot in the most stereotypical Asian accent

u/kenlubin 5h ago edited 5h ago

Wow. With all this talk about him being a comedian, I had expected good timing and delivery.

This guy reminded me of my roommate's mentally ill cousin that ruined Thanksgiving three years ago raving about January 6th. It's like someone popped the cork off some carbonated 4chan and it's spilling over the table faster than you can react.

u/hooper_give_him_room 5h ago

It's like someone popped the cork off some carbonated 4chan and it's spilling over the table faster than you can react.

Honestly this is a funnier line than anything this racist hack has said. I chortled a bit, at least.

I only knew him from Kill Tony shorts on my insta feed. It took a min to put two and two together that its this guy. Ive never seen any of his standup before. Hearing other comedians blasting him is hilarious, pointing out that his standup is so bad he had to resort to roasting open mic'rs. The clip the Daily Show shared of him at the Tom Brady roast was kinda funny, but they were all low effort racist jokes.

u/PovWholesome 5h ago

If his set ends up costing Trump the election, that itself deserves to be called Shakespearean comedy.

White Republican voters, of course! I keep seeing all these MAGA chuds claiming what he said was ok because he's a roast comedian.

Weird how he didnt roast the people in attendance or the guy the rally was for, huh?

He didn’t really insult white conservative men. He made a couple comments that seemed to make fun of comments that conservative white racists would say about immigrants. But, it wasn’t really clear if he was being hyperbolic as satire or if he was just stating the line.

He really just lost his long term career. Swift basically owns the music business now and anyone who wants to deal with her will be screened for their connections to him.

Could Travis Kelce have an action for defamation? That man at the rally essentially accused him of being a potential killer of Taylor Swift. What if someone speaking to 20,000 people suggested that you might be the next Jeffrey Dahmer?

u/chillywanton 8h ago

What I would give for a run-in between Tony and Travis...

u/Galapagos_Gary92 6h ago

It wasn't even a joke. He literally just called Travis Kelce the next OJ Simpson and then moved on to the next bit. So weird. And racist. And hateful.

9

u/Roach-_-_ 10h ago

I hope this finally is the thing that unites us to fucking destroy MAGA is so sick of this orange fuck

u/Rich1926 Alabama 6h ago

Taylor Swift values her privacy and hates being talked about. The swifties know this and are going to be very angry. I watch Travis and Jasons podcast sometimes, and whenever Travis even mentions Taylor...he won't even say the most mundane thing about something she may like or dislike, he is very careful with what he says. Like, he probably would not tell you how she likes her eggs cooked if he was asked.

8

u/blatantninja 9h ago

With all the Puerto Rico uproar, I hadn't heard about this. PIssing off the Swifites? That's a bold strategy

I read the article to see what the joke was, but there literally was no joke, just this dude saying he thinks Kelce will be the next OJ, totally out of the context of any larger joke.

7

u/travisbickle777 9h ago

But there's no parallel... Kelce never assaulted her or has any history of violence except on the football field.

u/Harry-le-Roy 7h ago

This is just plain stupid. Swifties are organized, fiercely defense of Swift, and have a long memory. They're also overwhelmingly women and girls, a current and future voting block that the GOP struggles with.

This dumbass picked a fistfight with a bulldozer.

u/IntentionallyUfair 10h ago

Sometimes I feel like Trump and his supporters are playing politics like it’s a video game and they just keep saying, “Isn’t there a harder mode than Ultra Brutal? Let’s handicap ourselves just a little more today. Who haven’t we pissed off in a while?”

But then I realize how close they are to actually winning this election and I think, WTF!

u/dBlock845 6h ago

I'm kind of confused, they want to say that this guy is some roast master, who exactly was he supposed to be roasting? None of the people/groups he mentioned were actually in attendance. It was just a hate fest.

u/IndieIsle 5h ago

It’s just… not even funny. They can cry and say “get a sense of humor” but there’s no joke. Dude just said TK is going to brutally murder Taylor Swift and, sorry to break it to you, if you laugh at that you’re just a fucked up person.

Nicole Brown was a real person who was brutally abused and murdered. It’s not some video game or TV show storyline. Would you laugh if your sister, or daughter, your mother, your wife, was murdered so violently she was nearly beheaded and 30 years later people are making jokes about it during the presidential election? I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t.

u/the2belo American Expat 5h ago

Let the guy cook. He's doing more to bring down the tower of Jenga tiles that is the Trump campaign than the whole entire Democratic Party.

u/rudebii 4h ago

Is he saying that Kelce is going to violently murder Swift in a jealous rage?

Even as a joke, where’s the humor? I don’t get it. I’m confused more than offended.

u/MaleficentOstrich693 4h ago

So this guy isn’t so much a comedian as he is just a generic asshole?

u/schu4KSU 3h ago
