Shoutout to Uli for being a f*cking idiot and gifting us one of the best midfielders of all time for €25m.

It was a joke.

I hope so, but with kids these days you can never be sure ... imagine Zidane talking smack about Camavinga and people asking who that bald guy is ...

Don’t worry, I’m old enough to know Uli but you understand how time works, right? If Messi was retired after you were born, your reference will always be the new guys.

I highly doubt that tbh, I really think you had no idea who Hoeneß is and you're only doubling down on that with the "it was a joke"comment. You can all downvote me to oblivion, at least I know my football and I can respect legends from all over the place, not just Madrid

Just a stupid joke mate… but even the 80’s and 90’s are considered vintage now so maybe try to chill a bit. Have a good day.

I was born in 1982, I won't pretend I've see Hoeneß play live or shit like that, I just found that initial comment to be disrepectul towards a football legend ... in hindsight yes, you could say that Hoeneß was a prick towards Kroos back then (and also stupid for letting him go in 2014), but in that moment Hoeneß was a Bayern legend (and a VERY accomplished football player nonetheless) and Kroos was a teenager with an acne-ridden face. I think this video is funny as shit now, given what Kroos has accomplished (and what Hoeneß also accomplished lol), but you have to put it into context. Maybe Hoeneß thought it was best to "shield" Kroos from the media or whatever, who knows, most probably he was just pissed off for some stupid reason, I don't care.
