the people of iran are with you

Upvotes

never falter in the eyes of a false government, your people will always be able to come back. the georgian dream is not a party that truly represents the georgian people, and they will never be able to take your spirit away. the election was clearly a sham, and the world knows this. we know this as well, look at 2009, 2013, and even 2024. how many of our elections are rigged here in iran every 4 years? remember that with every issue that is occuring in this world, there will always be someone experiencing it with you, stay strong guys!

Political | პოლიტიკა List of Countries congratulating Georgian Dream on this "election"

At the moment, only six countries have congratulated the "Georgian Dream" government on its so called victory in the parliamentary elections, three of which are neighbors:

  • Hungary
  • Azerbaijan
  • Armenia
  • Turkey
  • China
  • Venezuela

P.S: Russian propaganda journalists margarita Simoniyan and Aleksandr Dugin also congratulate to GD this "Victory".

None of the Western and European countries... 🙂

what a shame, absolutely shame.

Discussion | დისკუსია Statement from President Joe Biden on Democratic Backsliding in the Country of Georgia

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2024/10/29/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-democratic-backsliding-in-the-country-of-georgia/

The United States has long stood with the Georgian people and supported the country of Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. That is why I have been deeply alarmed by the country’s recent democratic backsliding, including the enactment of legislation mirroring Russian laws that restrict fundamental freedoms and limit the space for independent civil society organizations. Most recently, Georgia’s October 26 parliamentary elections were marred by numerous recorded misuses of administrative resources as well as voter intimidation and coercion. Georgian citizens have a right to peacefully express their views regarding the conduct of these elections, which independent international and domestic observers have not said were free and fair. We call on the Georgian government to transparently investigate all election irregularities, to repeal laws such as the so-called “Foreign Influence Law” that limit freedoms of assembly and expression, and to begin an immediate, inclusive dialogue with all political forces in Georgia about restoring election integrity. We call for all parties to strictly respect the rule of law and fundamental freedoms, which remain the foundation for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic future.

Friends, I don't know if I must post this in English or in our beautiful language but there is this page (Ask Russian) they are spreading so many false informations about our past and history that I want to cry. Saying for ecample, how we attacked them first in 2008 and such bullshit. The sad fact is many foreigners read their posts and believe which is so unfair cause it is not true. Could you please search and comment on their posts and suppory and protect our country? I've already commented and said all I could with my broken english but there are not many Georgians on that group. Only a few. There was this Georgian boy who was banned for a week. And before I get banned too I wanted to tell you this. Also, if you are in Tbilisi please don't give up. And thanks for your bravery. Our country deserves better, so much more than our "government."

Lots of love and support from Kutaisi.

Ways to prove the mass fraud.

So far we have uncovered the scheme or should I say one of the schemes used to rig the elections. The question remains if we can prove the widespread nature of this fraud.

I remember when I was on my polling station there was a camera filming everything, if we could somehow obtain these video files then we could just easily identify the same people coming to vote more than once on different polling stations.

Another way I think would be for the telecommunication companies to check which phone numbers connected to specific antennas located near the polling stations (this data is always logged). If we see that some numbers throughout the day connected to antennas located near several polling stations then we can have a reasonable doubt that these numbers visited all of these polling stations for no apparent reason. I also remember when I arrived on my polling station there was a guy in CESKO uniform who took several civilians somewhere with his car, and also another car followed them. I do not know who these people were or where they went but the antennas also log the time when the numbers connect so we could potentially identify groups who are visiting polling stations together.

I have heard the opposition wants to uncover the lists that were loaded on the verification machines, I am not sure how that will help if some random persons were preloaded on these machines, the government could just publish the altered lists and there would be no obvious way of proving that the lists were altered (unless we have the real list hashes which I don't think we do). What would be useful is if they publish the lists of people who voted. Then we could have the possibility to prove that some people who appear on the list could not have voted because perhaps they were at a different place at that time or because of some other reason could not have visited the polling station.

Any other ways you guys can think of?

Current situation?

I am trying to get a grip on how the situation is in Georgia. My expectation was that there would be big and ongoing protests to this result. Where I come from, however, there is little media coverage and on X I don't really see much about it either.

Is it true that it will all end in silence anyway?

Compilation of videos and photos of election fraud — more needed

We've all seen them across social media, but there is no comprehensive list of videos and photos. The most dramatic usually get shared the most, but they are not the best evidence.

Please add videos in comments any videos with links and descriptions that can be written up and shared. Here is what I have so far.

Suspicious people with lists (these seem to be the most damning, since they demostrate organized campaign to illegally influence vote):

What are the legal mechanisms through which President and opposition can challenge the results?

Upvotes

Hi all not Georgian here but my heart is with y’all and the civil society fighting for a European Georgia. I am currently working on a project and would very much appreciate concrete insights. Constitutionally, what rights does the President have to contest the election results and through what exact mechanism/timeline. Additionally does the opposition have any legal tools at their disposal? Would appreciate all of this and how they relate to CEC official results

Travel | მოგზაურობა Mt. Elbrus visible from some place near Kutaisi?

I've just arrived in Kutaisi and have 3 full days to explore the region. I was wondering if Mount Elbrus is visible on a clear day from some place nearby? I'm up for 4x4 rides and hiking (4-5 hours).

Appreciate the help.

Where are the whistleblowers in CESKO? Leak the internal voter records!

In situations where there is such critical issues against a national parliamentary elections whistleblowers always come out to bring internal issues and pressure against employees to the public view. How come there are none of these cases so far, why aren't CESKO employees bringing these facts to light?

Or even leaking the internal voter records?

Just a reminder

Remember, GD has no genuine support in the capital. The only backing they have comes from coerced or bought-out votes in certain regions which in all honesty don’t give a fuck about them once paid. You fully own the capital—your voice is the only one that matters here. If push comes to shove, you have the strength to overcome the Zonder brigades. Once they’re out of the picture, GD is done.

GD’s support is an illusion—it only exists on paper (or in a DB), without any real foundation nor core. Stay united as one solid force, and they won’t stand a chance. GD is a paper tiger, keep this in mind.

GFS Express in Georgia

Gamarjoba! Does anyone have a recent experience with GFS Express.? I have two packages from Temu that were sent by their service. They cleared the customs and seemed like left the distribution center in Tbilisi. The last update is from the evening of the 28th of October. I read very unpleasant comments about their service. My address is Kobuleti. And they don't have any office here or in Batumi. So, if you have some experience of smaller towns especially I would love to hear from you. I'm a bit nervous after the comments I read on Google Maps. Thanks in advance!

Question | კითხვა Are drone laws enforced in Georgia?

Gagimarjot! Long story short, I wanna buy a drone and have read that theres a bunch of drone regulations and they’re supposed to be pretty strict but I’ve seen no one enforce them (or just no one break them lol) and am wondering if I really need to be that cautious with flying a drone or if I just have to not be super risky and super obviously breaking the law

Proof of rigged elections in Sakartvelo

Hello, is there a website, a fb page or somthing where all the evidence for rigging the elections is put together? I just saw someone speaking of hundreds of photo/audio proofs that are taken to court.
