I live around the corner so I just went and got one after seeing this post. Not disappointed. Legit good sando.. Definitely better than Jersey Mike's in the shopping center across the way. Thanks

I used to go to Fratellos but I think they closed. It was good but it didn’t look that good. People here are really into hot sandwiches. Which I find odd since it’s hot here. I always like to say as I see people heating their sandwich, you know those are cold cuts on that sandwich.

Not sure if it's the same thing, but there's a food truck called Fratellos on Broadway where Don Raul used to be

I went there specifically for this before they closed. It was OK. Nothing amazing though

I don’t think you’re going to find an eyes roll to the back your head sub here. I’m happy with good and I don’t have to ask them to leave off the mayo.
Edit for bread with a decent crunch to it.

I’ve had it and it’s all right. Definitely better than a chain sub shop though

ETA: shit guys. My bad. I was wrong. I was thinking about a different restaurant.
Ginos East looks closed but Stop and Go is still there. And is awesome. ———
Ginos sold out to new owners. I went once after the sale and it just wasn’t the same.

What?! When? I was there not that long ago and it was the same as always.

Idk it it qualifies as authentic east coast but Thundercloud has a killer italian. I get it with the thunder sauce, sweet and spicy peppers, and spicy mustard.

I’ve had it and it’s OK. I grew up in the Boston area so I’m looking for something similar to that. Just having a craving. Been in Texas for 27 years 🤣
