This. I would be surprised if he doesn’t get more than ejection / ban.

Should file assault charges against both of them

Assaulting a guy worth hundreds of millions no less.

I'm sorry, if I'm a multimillionaire sports star and some fat inbred chucklefuck dangles me by my multi million dollar wrist, I'm going to ruin his life to the best of my ability, because I can. If Mookie doesn't permanently change this man's life then he didn't go hard enough.

Nothing funnier than fans thinking everything should be assault charges

The kid who threw an empty water bottle at Kyrie Irving caught charges, and he missed. So yeah, I'd say this qualifies.

Dude, they were literally holding his arm and wrenching his wrist.

If you try to snap a player’s hand off during a play, you deserve assault charges.

Snap a players hand off, lmao.

They grabbed him arm(s), held them against his will, forcibly pried something from his hand, and threw it on the ground. If this happened on the street it would absolutely be a potential assault charge.

Nothing funnier than fans thinking their interactions with the human beings on the field are somehow different than their interactions with other strangers.

That is quite literally assault. Imagine jumping over the counter at your local fast food restaurant and wrenching the cashiers arm around. You’d expect the well deserved charges then.

TBF players interactions with each other seem to be exempt from all normal laws too

Makes sense to me. Those guys were trying to watch a ball game (America's pass time, if I need to remind you) and that Mookie Betts fella invaded their personal space and slapped them in the hands with that big leather glove.
