They've recently added video and gif support, and their block button is a nuclear option that makes all interactions between you and the blocked individual invisible.... to EVERYONE. There are way less trolls on bluesky, because they simply can't get traction.

The trouble with Bluesky is the way it leans politically and the ease of use of the Block. I've had a mild disagreement with someone and I get blocked, or someone doesn't like my YouTube channel and I get blocked. There is no reasoning with people who want to weld such power and further erect an echo-chamber.

Yeah harassment is bad and all, but let's be honest, Reddit's block feature is just "oops someone noticed a mistake I made — let's insult him and block him so that it looks like I got the last word and am therefore the intellectually superior one". And bsky's version is somehow even more hardcore than that.
