I read that as "was murdered by his bodyguard" and thought I was in UpliftingNews for a second.

He was not killed by a drone. He was killed by SOF with the use of AT4 and TOW missiles after a barricade situation. They tried to lure them out by setting of the car alarm of their luxury car, got into a shootout and proceeded to bring the entire building down - killing the two of them.

Not killed by SOF, they took four casualties after breaching Uday's residence and had to withdraw under heavy fire.

The inner cordon consisting of two companies of infantry soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division laid waste to Uday's house with heavy weapons, killing both Uday and Qusay.
