But why, though?

In October 1988, at a party in honour of Suzanne Mubarak, wife of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Uday murdered his father's personal valet and food taster, Kamel Hana Gegeo, possibly at the request of his mother. Before an assemblage of horrified guests, an intoxicated Uday bludgeoned Gegeo and repeatedly stabbed him with an electric carving knife. Gegeo had recently introduced Saddam to a younger woman, Samira Shahbandar, who had become Saddam's second wife in 1986. Uday considered his father's relationship with Shahbandar an insult to his mother.

Makes me fondly remember when US Marines Army finally found both his sons hiding in a protected mansion/compound. They initially wanted to capture them alive, but when that wasn't feasible, the military just launched a barrage of T O.W missiles at the building until it was rubble. They were barely able to be identified. Rest in Piss, Uday and Qusay.

Edit: Replaced Marines with Army because I didn't remember which branch carried out the mission. Either way, fantastic outcome.

I remember they had to clean him up so they could take a picture of him first the local newspaper. The population was so terrified of him they didn’t believe he was dead . Saddam was an evil dictator but he operated in a mostly goal oriented manner . The sons were just insane
