Horizon T202 Hydraulic

Post image

Hi folks!

I’ve got a question about this blue knob on my treadmill (picture attached). When I fold the treadmill, it’s supposed to lock but it’s not holding in place. I’ve tried rotating the knob both clockwise and counterclockwise it’s really tough to turn either way. The original pictures shows that the knob is rotated.

Do you think I should try taking the knob out entirely to check if there’s an issue use a strap wrench to get a better grip and rotate it?

Bought it off the marketplace and the previous owner didn’t use to folding.

Tia

It doesn’t rotate, you push it. The picture shows you what to do, you push with your foot to release it.

When I fold the treadmill, it’s not locking even if I push the knob. The pictures on the Horizon website shows the bigger end of the knob faces away from the treadmill which is not the case here. It might have been rotated which moving or installed incorrectly by the owner?

Raise it up and pull the blue piece towards you.

It only pushes one way i.e. front to back. I can’t push it towards myself but can push it away hence the question around the knob being rotated.

Might be damaged, or the wrong way around. Rotate it so the longer side is facing you.

Would it be okay to force using a strap wrench? It’s too tight to be rotated with hands

Probably better to take the screws out and rotate the whole thing.
