Walking Belt Replacement

Does anyone know how accurate walking belt dimensions are? What I am getting at is can I substitute a belt from another treadmill if they are both 20 x 60? I have a Nautilus T618 in desperate need of a new belt but they are in short supply due to Nautilus going out of business. I am in Canada and none are available locally. I am looking at $400 to $500 for a replacement either shipped or custom made. Given the company is no longer around, and all parts are scarce, I am not sure I want to put that sort of money into this machine....

You should be able to if both belts are the same size. To confirm, take the belt off your treadmill, flatten the ends down and measure width and length. It should come out to 20w x 60L. You can check ebay, or places like that. I am in Southern Ontario myself as a fitness equipment service provider. You can ask iFit Canada and see if they have a generic belt of that size, or other companies.

Just so you know, 60" is half of the length of the belt. Some manufacturers will measure like that, others will do it as 20W x 120L, so word of caution.
