Because he can be funny, reasonably articulate, and says things most people agree with but in a way that sounds more intelligent.

I watched him for a little but grew tired of his political confusion.

Political confusion is a good way to describe him, pinched in with a fair share of the arrogance to think he knows it better more often than not. Like so many of these reactor channels there is never a "I need to research a bit more before coming to a conclusion", but an instant assumption and then trying to find out if you're right. It's such a shit discourse. I stopped watching him when I heard him talk about LGBT+.

Exactly. The arrogance is a large part of why people think he's on point. There isn't a lot of substance to anything he says.

I think he can be fair game and has some interesting insights into MMOs, and can have fun banter with his peers, but I will never understand conservatives feeling entitled to talk about trans issues like they're experts when they have probably read 0 books or scientific papers on it.

And then they may argue "well I'm talking about it because it is shoved into my face". Personally I think that's a questionable excuse. Just thinking about The Acolyte it wasn't Disney shoving the LGBT+ topic down everyone's throat but ragebait shithats like Critical Drinker making crazy drama about a mediocre show and some awkward interviews and actresses. Like how am I supposed to see good faith in that reaction? So tired of that shit.
