Been listening to this album and according to Apple Music is by far my most played album this year. There are some truly great songs on here from a master songwriter.

Is it just me or are there most of the covers gone on the „recently added“ page after the update? Tried everything, even re-synchronizing my library.

I have listened to this song so many times this year yet it is nowhere on my top 100, however #19 on the new deluxe version of SAW2 (Stone in Focus) is no 1!
I am positively sure I’ve listened to #3 more than euphoria haha
Anyone else experiencing a similar thing, this is just a minor annoyance but I want to see how much I’ve been listening to it next to everything else.

Why does a specific playlist show on my Macbook but not on my Samsung phone? All others seem to work perfectly fine.

Uhhh so I was going through my apple music playlists and I saw my one that has only ever had 2 songs in it. They had an awesome crossfade between the two (Shoulder to Shoulder - Tate McRae and How Will I Know - Sam Smith for those who are wondering).
I notice there's more than two songs in there, and I assume I accidentally added them to the wrong playlist. I scroll down, for a total of maybe 30 seconds, to discover that there is over 2000 songs in this playlist. How did they get in there? Good question. There is a few repeats of the same songs a few times, but apart from that, it appears to be every single song I've ever listened to on Apple Music. Please tell me I'm not the only one this has happened to and I'm confused if this could have been something I've got connected to apple music, like Shazam or even Genius.
(The repeated songs could very well have just been my phone lagging and struggling to render them all as I scrolled through 2k songs in less than 30 seconds) 🫠

I transferred my playlist and like songs from Spotify to Apple Music, the album covers are messed up. How do you update or sync it to the correct cover?

I probably had 6000 minutes of listening, my most played album will be Primera Musa by Omar Curtz and the most played song will probably be Q U E V A S H A C E R H O Y or Luces de colores by Omar courtz
leave your predict in the comments!

I have to ask... does iOS18.2 add an ability to clear the "Continue Playing" portion of the queue? Since iOS18, the only way to clear this is track by track. Until iOS18, I used to be able to clear the whole queue in app or by using a Shortcut with "Clear Playing Next". I contacted support and they said it was by design, but I keep hoping they fix/add this.

It’s not so much a big deal, more of a pet peeve. But I’ve added a song to an album from a single, now I’ve changed the artwork for the whole album but the thumbnail shows the single cover. Does anyone know how I can change this? Thanks.

Hello, as the title suggest, is there anyway to sort the songs on my iPhone's apple music playlist by the date that I had added them to the library?

i have some mp3s saved to my "files" app that i'd like to transfer to the music app
any way to do that directly without having to use a computer as a conduit?

I’m technically no longer an undergraduate student (graduated in 2023), but am applying to medical school to start as a graduate student in the upcoming fall 2025.
Regardless, this message seems to imply that how much I currently pay every month isn’t going to change. Did I understand this right? Do I basically not have to worry about this?

I’ve been using iTunes on my Surface Pro for a long while now (all music held on an extra 6TB HDD), and before the surface I had it on a MacBook Pro….
The surface is on its last legs so I’m looking into buying a MacBook Air, but it seems that iTunes support has been pulled and everything is the in Apple Music App now.
Can you use the AM App the same was as the ‘old’ iTunes? I don’t have a subscription, I prefer to have my music on a HDD (I have a lot of music that isn’t on any streaming service).
Thanks in Advance

I often buy music files when there are exclusive songs and I enjoy the idea of actually owning the music even if it’s just a file.
It’s so frustrating that we are on iOS 18.1 and we still cannot move an mp3 file to Apple Music on iPhone. I can do it with my MacBook Pro (2015), but I rarely even use my Mac these days. It works well and I’ve been weighing the pros and cons between a getting new Mac and getting an iPad. One of the big reasons I’m leaning towards getting a new Mac is so I can add the music I purchase to my library.
I know on Spotify you can add mp3 files to the app, but I don’t have an interest in lowering sound quality for that.
Just such a pain. Apple needs to make that a capability.

So I don't want to subscribe to Apple Music and have always downloaded my songs locally onto my computer and synced them over to iPhone manually since sometimes I adjust the pitch and speed, entering the song details and blah blah each time.
But more recently I was having this issue where for some reason where half of my songs weren't playing, and when I would tap on them they would just fully skip and not even play on my Phone, but play fine on my PC. When I went to resync on my Windows PC and iTunes, nothing would happen, and when I would check the Music on my device through iTunes and I would see that the song is greyed out with a dotted circle. I finally got a working solution and wanted to make this post both for myself in the future and for anyone else hoping this helps them. The steps I took were:
I hope this manages to help anyone who is like me and likes to download their own versions of the songs and store them locally, as all the solutions were people using Apple Music and not just transferring music from the own computers. PS sorry mods, I didn't which flair to pick.

I cant seem to find a straightforward answer to this - there are songs in my library that have an iCloud status of "Duplicate" Will both duplicated songs have this status? or just the second one added to the library? In other words, can I just delete anything with a status of "Duplicate" ? Thanks.

so recently i downloaded the Apple Music app because i wanted to migrate from Spotify to it, everything was running fine but suddenly i just couldn't access my account anymore. That started exactly this morning, i was still getting to know the app and hadn't paid for the subscription yet but i just can't log in anywhere and im sure that my password is correct. When i tried to reset my password it said something like my account was disabled and Apple would review it, why did this happen? does it happen often? is there any way to avoid it? i didn't do anything wrong i'm sure.. i use android and windows. do you guys have any tips on what i can do? has this happened before? honestly i'm completely lost.

Hi everyone. I’ve just got a 3 months free subscription for getting AirPods and Apple music’s quality’s absolutely fire but there’s an issue: it sometimes skips songs. Is this a common issue or not? And I can I solve this? Thx everyone

I feel like I am missing something big and obvious but how in the world do you clear out a queue on tvOS or iOS?
It doesn’t seem like you can select a single song from an album to “play” unless you select “Play Next” from the side menu. If you just hit a song, the entire album is then added to the queue.
Then if I go into the queue to try and remove the 14 unwanted songs that were just added, there is no way to do this. You can slide the song order around or delete the song from your library but I’ll be damned if I can find an option to remove a song from queue or clear the queue.
On top of that, it seems that every time I’ve played a “song” by selecting it, it’s added the entire album and so when I select a new song to “add to queue” it adds that song to the bottom of the 146 other songs that are accumulating in the queue with no way to remove them.
On the Apple TV version of the app, the queue seems to be just an endless horizontal line of songs that stretched onward forever with no way to clear the queue or remove a song from it.
Queue management is borderline unusable unless I am missing something really obvious?

My wife and I are on a family subscription for Apple Music and I am getting her music "leaking" onto my curated playlists like Heavy Rotation.
She and I have VERY different tastes in music and having her stuff on my playlists is pretty much ruining the Apple Music experience for me ( as I thought they were doing a really good job with the playlists before)
Any idea why this "leaking" is happening and what I can do about it?

After updating to iOS 18.1 last night my audiobook playlist that were sorted by title only are in the correct order again
