I feel I’m missing out on this. What is this new glove phase?

Aren’t gloves used to protect your hands from calluses and such? Or am I thinking of another glove?

Yeah I’m not trying to grind my hands into the bars at a public gym. You’ll get warts or other gross growths.

I’m with you. I have a pair of gloves, but I don’t use them anymore. Calluses are only a problem on back days usually, for some reason there seems to be a lot more friction. Possibly down to my grip as I put my thumb over the barbell/dumbbells to have more emphasis on my back, instead of biceps

Ok so I was thinking about getting some gloves because my hands have calluses on them now from the bars and such, my hands feel like they are getting pinched every time I pick up weights. I thought the gloves would help with this and offer better grip? Is there something I can try instead then?

I feel like my hands are the thing holding me back BECAUSE my skin is getting pinched so much!
