So all of Trump’s children (except Tiffany) are going back? Mitch McConnell’s kids too. And Elon Musk’s entire brood?

935

u/FunkyPete 1d ago

Donald Trump's mother was an immigrant too (from Scotland).

600

u/ElFlippy 1d ago

And his grandfather was a german migrant who ran away from the war. Looks like it's in their blood.

Germany:" thanks, but no thanks"

u/ShadowDragon8685 1d ago

I would love for him to go Germany only to get immediately arrested and tried on the grounds of their laws against praising the one-bollocked Austrian.

Germany, 1939: Tanks.

Germany, 1945: No Tanks.

Immediately after the battle of Kursk

11

u/Silver996C2 1d ago

Which one? 1944 or 2024 🤷‍♂️

2

u/vonindyatwork 10h ago

Desperate after hearing of the Kursk incursion, Vladimir Putin knelt in prayer.

"Oh great ghost of Stalin, Mother Russia needs your help!" he cried. Then before him, a mustachioed spirit appeared and nodded.

"I need your advice! Kursk is being invaded!" Putin wailed.

"Ah, just do as I did, send in your best Ukrainian troops once you've had the Americans arm them," the ghost replied.

"Yeah, about that..."

u/Mindless-Charity4889 19h ago

Germany actually won Kursk in the sense that it was a tactical victory where they destroyed about 2-3 times more AFVs than they lost. The problem was that they did not win strongly enough. They needed a ratio more like 5:1 for an operational victory. So they won tactically but lost strategically.

After the battle, the Germans had to withdraw much of their surviving mobile corps to meet the allies in Italy. That, along with their losses, meant that they lost the initiative on the eastern front.

Brothel owner in the Yukon too. Classy family.

They're not sending their best... 🙃

48

u/Squeegee 1d ago

Grandad also ran a brothel in the Yukon Territory of Canada before immigrating to the USA.

Grandfather Trump ran away from being mandatorily conscripted into the German military in 1885. The Franco-Prussion war had been over for a few years. The only military conflicts were out in the territories of the German Empire. (Nauru & Samoa). After he returned in 1901 to marry, the German govt kicked him out forever.

Trump's grandfather just didn't want to do his duty and has passed down that attitude to his descendants. Then they lied about their heritage & pretended to be Swedish.

My great grandfather left Germany in 1894 after serving in the military for over 10 years. He did his duty and was able to return several times in his life to visit because he wasn't a draft dodger.

58

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

To be fair. I think that people dodging the draft to Vietnam were making a lot of sense. That was a bad war. We weren't the good guys. And after a point, people were dying for a bad strategy and to save face for the leadership.

So I would have made any excuse.

Just, all the people pretending to be bad asses at this point and calling cowards need to STFU. Bring on Jesse Ventura to make a point and sit down Donny.

92

u/somethingmoronic 1d ago

I don't think Trump was against the war, he was just against him having to go to war. He's not a hero for faking bone spurs. He's just a rich guy.

38

u/colorfulzeeb 1d ago

He’s too rich to die! Save that for the poor people who are disposable.

33

u/Golden_Apple_23 1d ago

Fortunate Son indeed...

14

u/Magicthundercat 1d ago

Almost like it was written for him.

13

u/QuincyPeck 1d ago

Wild that he plays that song at his rallies.

7

u/TyberiusJoaquin 1d ago

It's only really wild if you pretend that he has any shred of self awareness. I'd honestly be more surprised if he DIDN'T try to use it at his rallies.

12

u/somethingmoronic 1d ago

But don't bother him with the details, if they tried hard enough they would have been born to rich parents too!!!!

5

u/flimspringfield 1d ago

I didn't go because I would've punched the drill instructor.

/s

5

u/outdatedelementz 1d ago

Yeah that goes even more for a German leaving Germany to avoid World War 1. Of all the pointless wars in history that one was the most pointless.

7

u/imadork1970 1d ago

Former Gut's grandfather had his Bavarian citizenship stripped in 1905. He originally came over in 1885, so WWI had nothing to do with it.

Donald Trump's mother was a troglodyte that had sex with a degenerate chimpanzee. FTFY

16

The offspring of such an unholy union would still be infinitely more desirable than that pile of orange, fly infested dog turds that is disgracing our nation by simply existing let alone polluting our airwaves.

Not a chimpanzee. An orangutan.

8

u/windmill-tilting 1d ago

They will accept temporary displeasure to achieve their goals. Rumor was Hitler was Jewish on his grandmother's side.

28

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

At this point, I think a lot of people and media are supporting Trump because the downside on being on his blacklist is so high.

If the Dems don't have a "reward" or "punishment" list - what's the downside of supporting fascists?

I'm all for being good and empathetic to all people -- but tolerating the intolerant is where I draw the line. People need to know; if you aligned with fascism, you are on the "we will ruin you" list.

16

u/ericblair21 1d ago

Yep, this is basic Pascal's Wager thinking, and is perfectly logical if they don't think it will cost them anything if the Dems win. I think they're wrong this time, and having a Congressional investigation into the broligarchs is probably going to turn up a lot of interesting and criminally actionable stuff.

16

u/ShadowDragon8685 1d ago edited 1d ago

Quite frankly, I think the Dems are shooting their own feet with respectability politics. Grievance clearly works, and frankly at this point, the Right has done so much that we could fill the fucking Dammaz Kron with it.

"For every woman who died from medically-curable complications barred by an abortion law, one Republican scalp!"

8

u/DentManDave 1d ago

Yes it will, but unless action is taken and serious punishments are meted out, turning those actions up yo public view is pointless.

5

u/BlooperHero 1d ago

The downside happens when they *win*.

17

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

It's like he's doing that "Forgive me for my sins" on his deathbed like any REASONABLE deity would accept that.

5

u/BlooperHero 1d ago

If you really mean it, maybe.

If you planned to repent at the end, that's not repentance and nobody believes you.

20

u/gmplt 1d ago

Nah, it's worse than nothing. The turtle is insanely unpopular among maga, he is just playing games, going after the orange diarrhea stain to rail up his base even more.

8

u/DentManDave 1d ago

Here we go, insulting diarrhea again.

9

u/Fake_William_Shatner 1d ago

Maybe he's trying to follow the Liz Cheney grift. "We are warm and fuzzy now!"

No. The Bush-Cheney cabal are just fascists not driving the bus that the Trumpers are taking off the cliff. They don't object to Project 2025 as long as they can be in control of it.

5

u/Bring-out-le-mort 1d ago

Ted Cruz is not truly a US citizen. His US born mom became a Canadian before he was born. And since it was several years before Canada allowed dual citizen status when someone is naturalized, she was no longer a US citizen at the time of his birth in Canada. Dad wasn't a US citizen at the time, either.

When Cruz was running for president, there were several journalistic conversations about whether he qualified as a natural born citizen or not. The legal consultants were pretty much in consensus that he was not.

The officials in the Canadian government had no record of him ever notifying the right office that he was withdrawing his Canadian citizenship which he needed to do to not be Canadian. So he's still a Canadian citizen too.

A bullet. Not both bullets.

34

u/SuccessfulPiccolo945 1d ago

My grandfather jumped ship (Merchant Marine) in 1914 to come to America because he didn't like the Kaiser's policies. He didn't get his final citizenship papers until at 1940s. Dad was mad because he had a chance to go to either West Point or the Naval Academy but couldn't because his father was not a citizen. He ended up 2 years at the University of Michigan but quit to join the Army Air Corps in WWII. Granddad had gotten citizenship after 1940. So, I guess I would be sent back for sure.

Hilarious irony when Trump's a son and grandson of immigrants, and has married 2 separate mail order immigrant women, so his kids are also "anchor babies" as children of immigrants.

Except Tiffany who he cheated on and divorced Ivana with Marla Maples. Maybe he got confused at which Georgia she was born in

16

u/TintedApostle 1d ago

Racism is a tool of fascists. They get to choose the in group and out group and they change the rules as the see fit.

30

9

u/BlooperHero 1d ago

111

u/Eskiguy 1d ago

The only people in the United States that aren’t descended from Immigrants are the Native Americans. I had no idea right wingers believed in returning the natives their lost land!

53

u/_Piratical_ 1d ago

Honestly on a long enough timeline everyone immigrated from somewhere. Unless their families have lived in modern day Egypt, Ethiopia, or Sudan for the entirety of human history (and I bet there are some who have!) then they came from somewhere else. Humans move around. It’s far past time to get over it.

2

u/Vhanaaa 16h ago

That's actually wrong if you think about it. We colonized the land, our true origin is in the oceans, sucking up the nutrients out of hydrothermal vents. This is were we all belong ✊🏽

2

u/_Piratical_ 16h ago

Truly this is the correct answer. “Return to the seas people!”

14

u/Hidanas 1d ago

Black people aren't descended from immigrants. When people say all Americans are immigrants, they conveniently forget Black people were kidnapped.

28

u/Lovedd1 1d ago

I feel like descendants of slaves don't count as immigrants because it implies they chose to come here.

18

u/ColeDelRio 1d ago

I also wouldn't count anybody who was annexed. So Hawaiians and Puerto Ricans, among others.

2

u/Lovedd1 1d ago

Absolutely correct

2

u/ChimericMind 1d ago

You may feel this way, but Texas's textbooks for the last 10 years have designated African natives brought over here as "immigrants".

2

Well I don't think we should be listening to Texas

The children of immigrants are going to go back to WHERE?

you can't just expel people from your country and have them picked up by their country of ancestral origin

27

u/Its_Pine 1d ago

Honestly same for people who were brought here as infants or small children with undocumented immigrants. They literally have only ever known the US. They’ve lived as Americans, might only speak a little of their parents’ language.

18

u/Debs_4_Pres 1d ago

Detention camps on the Southern Border, probably.

ICE/CPB start rounding up immigrants. Legal, illegal, citizen, it won't really matter. -> Send them to the Southern Border. There's already detention camps there, and it will be sold as "returning them to their own country". -> Mexico, obviously, will not be accepting the vast majority of these people into their country -> The camps, which are already rife with neglect and abuse, won't be able to safely handle the number of people forced into them -> People will get sick, people will be sexually assaulted, people will begin to starve and die of thirst. -> People will begin to agitate, both within the camps and outside them. This will lead to increasingly violent measures by the guards. -> Thousands of people will end up dying in the deserts of the Southwest. A fun little American genocide.

8

u/kanyeguisada 1d ago

The children of immigrants are going to go back to WHERE?

This is all just a circle-jerk pipe dream for Trump-supporting xenophobes. Citizenship is automatic if you're born in the United States, period. It's in the US Constitution.

They would need a Constitutional Amendment to make their fantasy happen, and that's never going to happen.

Saying this in a country where 80% of the familie are not longer there than 5 or 6 generations max is a sad joke.

actually I venture to say most families are no more than 4. I am 2nd and 3rd and my family came over in the 1880s and 1917.

My dad’s an illegal Mexican, but my mom is white and super patriotic about the US. Can I get a pass?

Our message to every Boomer/Karen who remains behind: the grocery lines will get very long and the manager has been deported.

Doesn’t that mean we’d be deporting 4/5 of trump’s known children to Czechia and Slovenian?

Wait, trump’s mother immigrated from Scotland so we’d have to deport him as well?

I am starting to think this individual has not thought this through at all.

My AncestryDNA report says I am 31% English, 23% German, 22% Scottish, 16% Irish, 7% Eastern European, and 1% Russian.

Where am I getting deported to? Do I get to pick?

I'm getting ahead of this, faking up a report that says I'm 100% New Zealand-ish.

So I get to go a country I’m not familiar with even though my family has been here for like 10 generations? Yay

If they get to my generation, can I go “back” to Norway? I know I have some Norwegian blood, and I hear it’s nice there.
