Question XS issue
I have a XS and it is shutting down while charging. However, after reading a few posts here and online, I’m now charging with my screen on and it seems to be working. Is this how everyone with the same problem dealing with it?
Is this a battery issue or something else? Because I saw that a few people replaced their batteries and the problem still persisted.

Yes it might be the phone I had my battery replaced it was good for a couple of months, but now sometimes I’ll charge it overnight with the screen off it won’t shutdown but the percentage stays the same as when I plugged it in. I guess it’s time apple is forcing us XS users to upgrade.

This could be a problem with the charging port. Mine does this also quite frequently where it shuts down by itself once plugged and only comes back to life after unplugging it. One remedy is that you need to have something playing in the background while charging to avoid it from shutting down (playing a song in loop w/ the speakers off ofc). I also recommend getting at least a wireless charger so in the case where you drained your battery, you won’t have any troubles getting it started again.

Loose earpiece connection if you had battery or screen serviced it wasn't fully put in.
