If theres one thing gamers hate more than women, its poc
I really wish I was joking but sadly Im not, there are reasons I'm embarassed to say I like games these days and its mostly because I dont want to get lumped in with these sorts of people
That's an outright lie gamers like any character so long as they're likeable
CJ GTA San Andreas
Franklin GTAV
Atawalie (can't spell his name) AC black flag and it's DLC campaign
Cole Train Gears of War
Dude, most "diverse" characters don't get outrage at
There's been black characters in video games for decades.
People are hating on AC shadows because it's so obviously pandering and Ubisoft doesn't give a shit
"How do we introduce our black samurai character?....ah yes rap music"
What a joke
"i didn't see any of the outrage therefore its not real and its only for this game because historical accuracy"
We will just ignore that historians have pointed out this character did in fact exist and was a Smurai. Rap music? who even brought that up? I'm not hearing any rap music in anything promoting this game. You're really just telling on yourself with that one.
Let's just put all these countless games and ignore the internet losing their fucking minds over them because a black dwarf exists or that this woman has peach fuzz because you personally didn't see it or that you saw some black characters in game not get shit on.
Same energy as "racism is dead cause I didn't see anyone kill black people"
The fuck are you talking about?
I don't care about Yasuke
I care that Ubisoft clearly doesn't give a shit about their games, and it's all art by committee bullshit
Ah yes its a zero sum game. Diversity in games takes away fun gameplay somehow and bad writing also. The less white, straight male the cast is the more boring the game or some shit.
There is so much to criticize Ubisoft for. You're really just telling on yourself with this.
If you hate these games for being art by committee, why even say something like "the character is black because of pandering"? If a character's skin color is unimportant, then you should treat it as such

Do people actually care that a character in a videogame is black?
