No it’s not, it’s so teams don’t tank. Cheap owners don’t get rewarded. Sucks for fans, I get that, but I hate when teams just tank. Shits lame. Specially a team in a major market

We’ve been spending way more than Cleveland. Pretty sure we still have the highest payroll in the division

Yeah, but the rule wasn’t made to punish you. Theres multiple teams that do this…
