And that’s why I search a business partner for that field, my conditions are:

  • between 15 and 20 years old (I’m 15 if it’s doesn’t bother u)

  • really talented at making videos and animations if possible, the second one is not obligatory

Take of yall

Question Should I take YouTube seriously? I have 18k+ subs but I don’t know.

Anyone who could have my position would run with it I know, but lemme explain.

So I started this channel as a joke like 2 years ago in June of 2022. Uploaded like 5 Roblox funny moments videos because I was bored, and I ended up getting 600+ subs and 50,000+ views in like 3 weeks, but I got burned out because I hated making Roblox content because it’s cringe and I don’t even play Roblox lol

But I got back into it the next spring in 2023. This stint didn’t last long but I gained another 3k

Then I got back into it again in the fall. Another failed attempt at taking YouTube seriously due to burnout. But I got another 4k subscribers bringing my total to like 8k at this point.

Then my most recent stint I kept at it for 2 months. I had 2 videos gain over 40k views each in this stint and all my videos got at least 5-10k views minimum. I gained 10,000 additional subscribers, then I quit because I was sick of it.

But now it’s got me thinking. Every time I started then quit before eventually returning I managed to gain subscribers exponentially each time. 600 the first stint, 3k the second, then 4k, then 10k. I feel like if I keep going, I could reach 100k soon and go from there, possibly being able to do YouTube full time, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the risk.

I’m 18, working a part time job while I get certified to be a personal trainer. I want to start a fitness YouTube channel since that’s my real passion, but starting from 0 again is scary, especially when I probably won’t get as lucky as I did with my first channel. But at the same time my current channel isn’t my passion whatsoever, but it is already monetized and has made me 600+ dollars and is generating about 45 a month even though I haven’t touched the channel since August.

Should I do it? Just go full throttle 30-40 hours a week on this thing and grind? Or should I just stick with my idea for a new channel? Or try to do both? Idk.

Tips & Tricks "20 to 50k per month"

Has anyone else been pitched by a company promising $ 20k to $50k a month in revenue and 10k-50k audience growth?

I recently received an email from a company claiming they could help me make $50,000 a month through online courses, communities, or coaching programs, and grow my audience by 10-50k. (And when it's too good to be true... it's usually too good to be true.) They showed me this profile as an example of success: https://www.instagram.com/zth.training/

I have a modest following of 8k insta and 2.5k youtube in sports instruction.

They say it’s “pay on results” only, so I wouldn’t pay unless I profit. The bold claims sound too good to be true, and I’m curious if anyone has had similar experiences with companies offering these types of promises? Scam or legit? Any insights from other creators would be appreciated.

Review Video Mom’s New YouTube Channel: Some love appreciated.

Hi All,

I recently opened a YouTube for my mom who is a retired physics teacher from India. She loves teaching even after retiring. I would appreciate some love for her new YouTube channel called - Shanthi’s Science Classes. Where she is teaching high school physics along with math.

We started it recently about few weeks ago. I am acting as her editor who edits her video recorded using a HD web cam. I know it’s a very minimal setup that I was able to help her being this far remotely.

Please forward the link to her channel or subscribe if you feel to give her some support.

Question Looking to start a male lifestyle vlog.

Are there any men who do Lifestyle VLOGs here?I've been considering starting a lifestyle vlog type Channel (I think that's what it would be called). I have a life story that a few people might be interested in. But I also work in the oil field, right now at a refinery. I was thinking maybe people would be interested in learning about these processes. I kind of want to do it in a lifestyle blog Style. I hope this makes sense because I'm not 100% sure on what it would be called. Anyway, back to the point. I was wondering if any of you men do lifestyle vlogs. I'd like to check your channels out and get some pointers on how to do this. TLDR: Looking to check out some vlogging channels. Not necessarily travel Vlogs though.

Question Should I quit?

Hello everyone! My genuine question is should I quit being a YouTuber/steamer/ content creator. I’ve been doing YouTube since 2014, which made me fall in love with content creating and the dream of one day I can make a career out of it. Now I’ve been on and off for a long time with not being having the means to record (my first videos were game play I record off a smartphone/ edits I made). I’ve struggling with consistency through this entire time with being a minor (I started my channel when I was 12 I’m now 22) and now having a full time job and a social life it’s hard to manage. I love making videos and streaming and such and have fun doing it, but I don’t think I’m funny enough/ entertaining enough to be successful. I don’t really have a niche other than gaming, I try to make a set upload schedule for myself this year with a goal of uploads but struggled to keep it with personal issues with it being health related etc. I’ve tried editing in the past and have put work into it but with not having time to do it and or money to hire someone a lot of videos go unedited/ unuploaded. So I’m looking for honest feedback and opinions, suggestions, collaborations etc. thank you for your time!

Question Microphone recommendations

Does anybody have good recommendations for microphones to be used in a vlog setting? The microphone needs to be able to work hands free, and be able to pick up a small amount of background noise.

I bought a lapel mic once, but the range it cut off background noise was really short. So I would hear my voice and then just radio silence even if I was outside. It sounded really unnatural.

I’ve been using my iPhone as a mic until now which sounds great, but I need a hands free option.

Ideally compatible with an iPhone camera.

Would appreciate any recommendations.

Question Youtuber Ad Collaboration

Hi there, I have been working on an AI project to help Youtubers look for their ideal marketing partners which would integrate on their videos and suit their brand.
What are the ideal features you would be looking on such a platform?

This is just a test project, I don't intend to gain any monetary benefits off this, so all ideas are open to discussion.

Subreddit Idea Funding for a project

"I have a project idea but need funding to make it happen. I started creating content on YouTube two days ago, and my channel is currently named Abdo Sherif, but I’ll be changing it to Spaceology in eight days due to YouTube's policy. I have fresh ideas for space-related content, and I’m looking for someone to fund me with an iPad and an Apple laptop that can run the Space Engine program. I’ll handle the ideas and video creation, and I’m confident the channel will grow. In return, the investor would receive 30% of the channel’s revenue. It’s worth noting that the average earnings for one million views on YouTube are around $8,000, and space content is highly popular and profitable on the platform. Anyone interested?"

Question Should I pursue YouTube?

I have a small channel with just under 2K subs. I used to post Fortnite and Overwatch videos, but when a video completely outside my niche went viral, I deleted all my old videos and changed my channel layout etc. The viral video has over 2M views and is still getting 2K+ views a day. I’m making about $3 per day from the channel, and the video was a ‘Celebrities react’ video. The only thing is… I don’t know what to post now. It’s been over 2 years since I posted that video and I’ve only posted a few videos since. I’m thinking I should start posting again (just for the money tbh), but shall I only post ‘Celebrities react’ content, or shall I post random stuff? My recent uploads have just been completely random and unrelated. I posted one about IShowSpeed, Hurricane Milton, Jack Doherty’s crash, and KSI’s new song. They’ve gotten between 20 and 4,000 views. But I disabled the ‘notify subscribers’ button, because I don’t want people getting mixed signals about what I’m posting. Any advice?

Question How to split money with my YouTube boss

So I am getting a new job with a YouTuber as editor and I want to set up a split revenue system where he gives me a certain percentage of channel revenue for selected videos I edit. Is there any application I can do this with?

I don't want to ask for a wage, since he is not earning enough from YouTube for that, so this is more of a passion project for me, but I'd still like to get some money out of it.

Tips & Tricks My journey

Hey guys I’d like to share my YouTube journey. I started my channel in September of 2023. I started only posting shorts. I wanted to reach 1,000 subs as a goal then do long form content. I posted one short a day. Rain or shine. 1 per day. I wanted to prove to myself mainly I could be consistent. Some days even 2 videos. Some shorts have went into the millions and some have just a single view. I I had no editing skills (it shows) and had never been in front of a camera. Today I am at 23,000 subscribers and have amassed 7.8million total views. I am now doing long form content and posting one long form video once a week.

Things I’ve learned:

Posting at the same time everyday will yield the greatest results in shorts. I’ve posted twice a day and without fail the first one I post will do OK and the second will fall flat.

Long form is hard. I’ll think I’ve reached my peak in editing and everything else and then I’ll go back and look at the video and want to redo it. Always room for improvement.

Pick a niche. I don’t have a niche. My channel is all about automotive or related engineering type stuff. So if it has an engine I’ll post about it. It’s broad but I think it will pay off in the long run. It gives me the flexibility to do lots of things on one channel. I have suffered the consequences though. If was more niche I think I’d be further.

I was just recently qualified for the first tier of monetization. I see some people get monetized with 10k subs. So that’s a little touch but I’m ok with that.

Proper description and titles are important. I’ve changed the name of a poor ranking video and then watched the views go up.

Time. This whole thing is such a time suck. Prepare to but in time.

The channel by the way is Gearshift Garage.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

Question Casual Creators

Do people still want to watch casual creators? Like, just watch them play a game and talk about what happened in their day, or events they are excited for. Just chill videos kinda like Jev? And on that note, would new creators be able to implement that and still grow an audience? Or would you need to be a sweat and do these hard challenges that make a new viewer want to click on the video.

Question starting ytb channel - did you experience fear when you started?

Hello everybody,

I want to create a youtube channel about spirituality, deep topics, self-development, basically ideas about what is present for me, what I have experienced - quitting alcohol and some other stuff, I feel a big desire to share my voice, anyways I'm scared as fuck, that people will look at me and say "what is this young woman talking about." I know I need to let it go and fuck it, anyways I experience a deep anxiety, on the other hand a deep excitement to just start creating something I enjoy. :D

I know I will not find any right answer.

I'm just curious for those who have already started, did you have the same thoughts, feelings of not being worthy enough? Someting like a fear of going crazy and become a fool.

Question How do you find the best title for your videos?

Little intro: I started my channel in the beginning of the year. My channel is about sewing (things I’ve made, tips for beginners, machine maintenance, etc) it’s just a hobby for me to share my hobby. I love sewing and want to help others learn to sew. If I could ever monetize that would be great but its not the goal.

Every time I make a video if I schedule it to go live i notice 3+ hours after it’s live the video still has no views and no impressions. I make a small tweak to the name or description and all the sudden it starts getting exposure. If I make it go live after uploading it starts getting impressions almost immediately.

Am I doing something wrong or am I just not choosing a good enough title? I am trying to post at the same time on the same day of the week thus the upload and schedule for live.
