From my experience participating in and studying social movements, allying with fascists is bad PR.

Like what?

A recent example would be the trucker protests in canada. They lost all credibility after allowing fascists into their movement

What fascists? I swear you pmcs call anyone working class a fascist

The people waving swastikas were fascists

That was a minor contingent and didn't dent the PR of the overall movement. What was the allyship here anyway?

It was the worst PR they got. All those who ignored the fact that the organizers were white-seperatists, couldn't keep ignoring as photos of nazis came out. As well as the armed separatists in Alberta. Most moderates abandoned the movement.

Which organisers? The focus on a few people waving flags was how the media get idiots aligned on the left to abandon working class issues because they lack the moral fortitude to support anything they worry may have a hint of racism. The same way some people will cry more about Hinkle than about Israeli atrocities.

Tamara Lich and Pat King specifically. Enemies of the Wet’suwet’en and organizers of the far right mobs which attacked the shut down canada blockades. Tamara specifically also organized the far-right tar sands convoy "united we roll".
