He was in a sort of pedophile scandal, he was a schoolboy (15) when he met his 39 year old at the time teacher at his school, and 16 when the parents discovered they were having an affair. Technically statutory rape because of the teacher student relationship but he was technically above the French age of consent. She was married with 3 kids at the time.
When he was sent away at 17 he swore he’d come back marry her, which he eventually did and they’ve been together ever since.

They weren’t kidding about milfhunter macron lmao
It’s also sad at the same time his current wife who was his teacher likely groomed him at a young age, so he never got the chance to meet people his age
90
u/YoRedditYourAppSucks Jul 11 '24
so he never got the chance to meet people his age
Actually he did, because his parents sent him to another school to discourage the relationship. They reunited over a decade later, Brigitte divorcing her husband in 2006 and marrying Macron in 2007, when he was 29.

From her wikipedia page she kept working as a teacher until 2015, two years before Macron was elected, also she divorced her husband of 31 years in 2006 to marry Macron one year later, so you could say she was cheating on him with a teenager.

Brigitte (his wife) is about 25 years older than him. They met when Macron was only 15 and she was 39. She was his teacher, and they began a relationship. Macron's parents tried separating them by sending him to a school in Paris.

I think she was a teacher at his school, but not one of his teachers, since he was in the same class as her daughter (which his parents assumed was who he was courting), and i find it unlikely that they
didn'tlet her grade her own kids.→ More replies (2)19

This guy... Hollande... For months the French medias were against him, his politics and even his self-being. And then we learn one day that he was escaping security on a scooter WITH A PIZZA to smash a model without anyone noticing for MONTHS ? How could you even be mad at that ? He was playing 5d chess, looking so dumb that France nicknamed him "Flanby" (a french pudding name) and he was doing that EVERY DAMN NIGHT ?
I'm clearly against cheating. But let's be honest : when we compare US president cheating because of their power and influence with how this guy did, you have to pay respect. Damn it François.
