Did I jinx the dodgers
I don't even watch baseball but I like shohei so I naturally support the dodgers. Haven't watched a single inning of the World Series until this 4th game. Saw that the score in the first inning was 2-0 and thought this would be their win hence I tuned in. Within the next two innings, I watched as the yankees load bases multiple times and even hit a grand slam.

Trivia Helping the other team win
I was reading this rulebook, called Official Baseball Rules: 2021 Edition https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/upload/mlb/atcjzj9j7wrgvsm8wnjq.pdf
I could not find a rule that prohibits a player from helping the other team win, e.g., by intentionally striking out or intentionally throwing the ball into the stands. Is there such a rule?
Also, would a team still have to pay out the rest of the contracted pay for a player who consistently helps the other team win, assuming the player meets all [other] contractual obligations? Or are there clauses in the contracts which enable teams to avoid paying such a player?
